Will you make a World War 2 series?

Yes, definitely. I get more requests for a series about WW2 than on any other subject. I studied WW2 at university, so it's something I'm very interested in myself. And although there are thousands of WW2 videos out there already, I think I could do it in an interesting way that helps people understand strategies, turning-points and ebb and flow of the war. 

Future topics get chosen by Patreon supporters ($2+) in regular votes, so if you really want to see Epic History TV do WW2 the best thing you can do is sign up and vote for it!

Can you make a video about my country or my favourite bit of history?

I read all suggestions for future topics that are sent to me, and many that are made in the YouTube comments. I'm sorry if I don't always have time to reply to each one personally. You should note that suggestions from Patreon supporters get special consideration, and if you contribute $2+ per video, you also get to vote on future topics (from a shortlist I create).

Thanks for asking! Epic History TV is just one guy, and I really depend on your support to keep making videos. I’ve recently begun making YouTube videos full-time, largely thanks to the help I get from supporters via Patreon. If you’d like to support the channel, and receive a range of perks including ad-free, early access to new videos and exclusive updates, you can pledge anything from $1 per video, and put a monthly limit on your donation. How do you make your animated maps?

The main software I use for the maps is Adobe After Effects. If you've not used it before it can be quite daunting, and it's not cheap, but it’s industry-standard software and gives great results. There are plenty of free online tutorials if you want to give it a try.

What is the music in your videos?

All music sources are listed in the end credits of the video, and/or in the video description.
